Immaculate Grid

Immaculate Grid is a baseball-themed game designed to test your baseball knowledge. It is a variant of the Wordle game but for baseball fans. In this game, you have to guess nine players within nine guesses using specific criteria on a 3x3 grid.

What is MLB Immaculate Grid

It's MLB (Major League Baseball) season and baseball fans can't wait to test their hardball knowledge in Immaculate Grid game! Inspired by Wordle, Immaculate Grid was designed to challenge your baseball knowledge. It's popular among fans, journalists, and even ex-baseball players.

The name of the game also originated from its main goal, answering all 9 guesses correctly without missing a single guess. It also refers to baseball Immaculate Inning in which a pitcher strikes out 3 batters in a single inning with the fewest number of pitches, which is nine.

Gameplay

The game is played on a three-by-three grid. The team logos are placed along the X axis while the individual statistics are on the Y axis. The game requires players to guess the baseball players that match the criteria in both axes. And the ultimate goal is to fill out the grid without a mistake.

Each day comes with a new grid and provides players with exciting new challenges!

MLB fans everywhere are obsessed with this game. It has gone viral and become a phenomenon on the Internet these days.

How to play Immaculate Grid game

Get to know the game grid

The game is played on a 3-by-3 grid. Across the top as well as the side, the team logos, awards, and stats will be listed. There are 9 tiles and 6 corresponding tokens. The tokens can be a team logo or a stat such as 300+ avg season, 30 stolen base season, 20+ win season, 30 home run, and more. And these will be placed across the top and on the left of the grid.

Fill out the grid within 9 guesses

You have to select a box and enter a baseball player that matches the criteria on both the X and the Y axis.

To do that, simply click on the square.

Next, type the name of the player.

In case you don’t remember the exact name of the player, don’t worry, just enter a few letters then you can see a drop-down list of players to choose from. Just scroll to find and tap Select to choose the player you want.

For example, if you select a box that shows Yankees across the top and Red Sox on the left side, you need to enter a player who played for both teams. For example, you can enter Johnny Damon, or Doug Mientzkiewicz. These are both acceptable answers.

So in other words, you must enter a player that satisfies both criteria in the horizontal and vertical axes.

You have nine guesses to fill out all squares in the immaculate grid.

Player's requirements

Remember that a player can only be guessed once and players may be active or inactive.

Each right guess you make will bring you a closer step to a perfect grid. And the wrong choice is a loss that leads to incomplete results.

What makes this game different from Wordle is that there are multiple correct answers in each box.

Play one puzzle a day

There is one puzzle a day which means once you used up nine guesses, you have to wait until the next day to play another grid.
